Recap | Diverse International Short Films at ShPFF

On the evening of June 17, the first Encore Screening of ShPFF 2019 was filled with a series of exceptional short films.

Before the screening, the representative of Nike On Air Studio expressed their support to the community. The space is currently exhibiting portraits and stories of the participants of the “Rainbow of Colors” workshop. The exhibition is open to the public until the end of this month.

The screening included a Chinese Short Film, You, Not Your Gender; short films from Asia-Pacific Queer Film Festival Alliance (APQFFA), Where to Go, Element, and Kiss; international short films, Something to Cry About, Mom’s Clothes, Zinzan, I Am Mia, Mr. Mare, Reach the Sky, It, The Handyman, Sparrow, and a Special Screening of Frig.

The films brought different styles and expressions to ShanghaiPRIDE Film Festival. Each one was highly creative and critical while bringing up important social issues. It was an exciting experience for the audience.
