Greatest Halloween Pub Crawl

Last weekend, ShanghaiLGBT did themselves proud by throwing their best Halloween Pub Crawl yet and turning the weekend into a spooky, sexy, deliciously drunken affair.

Party buses shuttled almost 200 dance-happy, costumed party-goers around to a series of gay-friendly bars and clubs between Friday the 31st and Saturday November 1st, with games, contests, and – best of all – free Stoli vodka shots galore passed around the buses. Friday’s bus set sail from Vbar and went on to take about 60 people to seven different bars, including Hunter Bar, Asia Blue, Lollipop, Eddy’s, Rice Bar, and 390, ending the night at glitzy gay club Shanghai Studio, where the best costume prizes were given out. Winning costumes went to a Chinese zombie, a set of phantoms, and a banana.

The Pub Crawl switched things up on Saturday, starting the night’s shenanigans at Hunter Bar and taking two full buses of 120 pub crawlers to each of the seven other bars. By the time the buses pulled up at 390, the final stop of the night, partiers were happy, raucous, and dancing in the aisles, and piled out to take the dance party inside. Saturday’s best costume prizes were awarded to a Native American chief, a pair of Pocahantas’, a tree with monkeys, a Cleopatra, and an oversized Minion.
