To close the 10th ShanghaiPRIDE,

let us celebrate those who have overcame

their own personal challenges

in their journey of self-acceptance.

People from far and wide,

men, women and in between, young and old,

parents and children,

who came to Shanghai

and were brave enough to share with us,

what they had to overcome

when they first came out,

and how important the LGBTQ community

was to give them the courage to live openly.

By sharing their stories,

we hope it will encourage more LGBTQ people

to know that there is a community

and support available for them.

Their bravery inspire us

to continue our commitment

and create awareness on behalf of

the LGBTQ community all over China.
