This forum is focused on Mental Health and will feature therapists specifically trained to understand LGBTQ experiences. We will be discussing accessibility to psychological care and how we can strive towards internal and external acceptance.

01 Tin Tin

Tin Tin is the Chief Supervisor of Shanghai Qingai Health Center and founder and Chief Consultant of Shanghai Tanlu Enterprise Management Consulting Co., Ltd. He is a certified therapist, supervisor, and Distinguished Lecturer at Irving Yalong College of Psychotherapy and supervisor certified by European EMDR Association. Tin Tin is also a member of the Psychological Therapy and Psychological Counseling Committee of the Chinese Mental Health Association.

02 Xin Ying

Xin Ying is the Executive Director of the Beijing LGBT Center. She has also been co-curator and founder of the China Folk Women’s Film Festival and co-founder of the Wuhan Rainbow Working Group, an LGBT community group in Wuhan. As the Center’s director, she launched a program for the training of friendly counsellors for the sexual minority in China, as well as an advocacy campaign against conversion therapy for LGBT people and the complete de-pathology of LGBT people from China’s psychiatric diagnostic manual.

03 Dr. Felice Soo

Dr. Felice Soo is a licensed LGBTQ-friendly clinical psychologist at Jiahui Health. She has more than 7 years of clinical experience working with diverse populations from different countries, LGBTQ individuals and ethnic minorities. Her expertise is in the areas of grief, depression-anxiety disorders, insomnia, trauma and stress related disorder, LGBTQ-related issues, and interpersonal relationships.

Event Participation and Health Check Entry Notice

a.All participants must register prior to attending an event. Upon entry, participants are required to measure their body temperature. If the participant’s temperature exceeds 37.3℃, or if the participant has a cough, shortness of breath or other flu-like symptoms, they shall not be allowed entry.

b.Please wear masks when entering and leaving the venue.

c.Please show your GREEN Shanghai QR Code when entering the venue. Participants with Shanghai QR Codes in other colors are not allowed to enter.

d.There is a limitation on the number of participants for all events. There will be no further admission once we reach maximum capacity for an event.
