Do you want to go on a “treasure hunt” in the city? Use your exclusive photography skills, show off your amazing self on social media, and win lots of ‘likes’ and fancy Pride souvenirs? Well, this is your chance!
As one of the many highlights of the 12th ShanghaiPRIDE, a very special “Raise the Pride” challenge is coming!
June is hot, colorful, and the season of pride. Our ShanghaiPRIDE 2020 is happening!
Our theme this year – “敢晒，敢骄傲 Raise the Pride” – reflects our commitment to asserting our identities and daring to let our true colors fly free. In a time when our world can feel increasingly divided, we hope to focus on what unites us — love, friendship, community, and Pride.
This time, we have made a clever use of the pun of this year’s theme, and quite literally, ‘raised’ the pride of the LGBTQ community!
How YOU can participate in the “Raise the Pride” challenge:
Find or collect t-shirts in rainbow colors and post them in ANY way you like. That’s right, ANY way that shows your pride.
Post them on social media between 6/6-6/14 with the hashtag #RaisethePride# and share your story. Send the screenshot back to our WeChat official account, and we will select 10 of the most creative friends to win Pride souvenirs!
