Through discussions and open conversations, Pride Open Day worked to enhance the visibility, acceptance and inclusivity of the LGBTQ community.
Some groups offer comprehensive services and support for members of the community, while other institutions work nationwide toward eliminating discrimination and inequality in society, workplaces and the media. There are also groups working to provide medical, legal, and community services to sexual minorities, including the first public service organization for transmasculine people in China.
Throughout Pride Open Day, these impressive organizations fostered in-depth dialogues and connections with attendees, creating a stronger and more diverse voice for the community.
ShanghaiPRIDE would like to thank our partners, sponsors, the LGBTQ communities, and everyone who participated in the Pride Open Day this year, including the Consulate General of Canada in Shanghai and the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Shanghai!
