Diversity & Inclusion Consulting (DNIC) is proud to bring you this year’s DNIC Workplace Conference on June 19! This event brings together employers, employees, and job seekers to share and learn the value of an inclusive workplace for all.

Corporate LGBTI Diversity and Inclusion in China Report

In this session, Beijing LGBT Center will launch the report and present the findings of the research done in the past year on how LGBT+ D&I benefits businesses and reflection of inclusive policies and practices of businesses in China from the perspectives of both employers and employees.

Legal and Media Outlook on LGBT+ D&I
11:00am-12:00pm

When a brand or business promotes D&I, is there any impact on the brand image for these inclusive companies in China? In this session, we review media coverage of LGBT+ topics which reflect the media communication and public attitude towards this subject.

Panel 1:
Why & How Corporate Senior Leaders Drive Workplace Inclusion
1:30pm-2:30pm

In this forum, we will look at what other companies are doing in and around Greater China and how to bring global inclusive practices locally. Business leaders will share how they have taken their company’s global mindset and localized it. Find out from a talent perspective how from recruitment to retention, to promotion and representation can impact the overall bottom line.

Panel 2：
Mental Health at Work

Since the pandemic, the topic of mental health has gained increasing attention worldwide. Employees, including LGBT+ employees, face unique challenges in maintaining their mental wellness. Once a taboo topic, companies are eager to offer mental health support and awareness to their employees. Experts in this field will be sharing their insights and recommendations on how companies can support and maintain their employees’ well-being.

Panel 3：
Proud Voices at Work – Sharing from Employees 4:00pm-5:00pm

In this session, we will hear from LGBT+ employees on how inclusive workplace practices make positive change on their working lives. These stories will also act as a reminder to us all on the importance on making LGBT+ inclusion as part of the business strategy.
