Every year ShanghaiPRIDE donates the proceeds from raffle tickets to various organizations. In the 2017, proceeds from Rainbow Bike Ride, Pride Run, ShanghaiPRIDE Theatre Festival and raffle tickets have supportted LGBTQ related projects by Beijing Common Language, Gay and Lesbian Campus Association of China, Shanghai Qingai Health Center, LGBTQ Groups Open Day to raise public awareness of gender issues, eliminate discrimination and strive for equality.

About Rainbow Anti-Gender-Based Violence Service CenterIn 2017, the proceeds from our Pride Run will go towards the Common Language Rainbow Anti-Gender-Based Violence Service Center Hangzhou Station Project “Growth Group”, set to commence in the second half of the year. Since October 2016, Rainbow Anti-Gender-Based Violence Service Center has dealt with issues related to sexual orientation and gender choice, as well as helping to resolve conflict with family and partners.Read More |

Sex/Gender Training Campus Program at Yangtze River DeltaThe proceeds from 2017 ShanghaiPRIDE raffles will go to the GLCAC Sex/Gender Training Campus Program at Yangtze River Delta in July 2017. GLCAC aims to raise awareness and understanding of gender equality and sexual identity issues among educators, in order to facilitate sex/gender and LGBT education for students, so as to create a nurturing, accepting, and friendly environment for all LGBT youth in campus. |
