LGBT couples light up the Kissmas tree
On Dec.20th, 2014, the romantic Christmas night at Xintiandi became rainbow! Even though it was cold outside, the festive atmosphere was super hot. We had more than 40 LGBT couples on stage kissing, bravely showing the same love to others. Their kisses lit up the Christmas tree, and each of them meant a small donation to charity and even larger contribution to our shared future.
On Kissmas rainbow night, we had friends from more than 20 Shanghai’s LGBT groups. Straight couples also came kissing to share the power of love. There were even mothers who let their 7-year old girls kissing to show support for the LGBT community!
Visit the photos page to see all the happy kissing couples!
Join Our Kissmas Tree LGBT Night at Xintiandi
Still remember last year’s rainbow night of holiday kisses? This Saturday, Shanghai’s LGBT groups are joining forces like never before with Xintiandi to write the next chapter of our holiday! As Christmas approaches, we’re looking for all LGBT couples to show the power of love through sharing a simple kiss. Join us as we make sure LGBT love lights up the night this holiday season, bringing visibility and hope to Shanghai’s LGBT community.
Too shy to share center stage? Just come out as part of the audience to support and help cheer on the courage of others. There’s no better gift this Christmas than uplifting one another and support the love the LGBT community. Each kiss on stages means a small donation to charity and an even larger contribution to a shared future where our love is celebrated all year long.
