ShanghaiPRIDE 2012 Performer – Ivanna Sucalongkok

Ivanna Sucalongkok was born in 2009, portraying herself as a mix of Thai and Russian Heritage. Entering a Drag Competition at the famous Shanghai Studio and came in second place, her debut did not end there. Soon after she was invited to perform regularly on Friday nights and events at Shanghai Studio which led to her timely exposure to the entertainment industry. There she met the awesome DJ Sacco who encouraged her to continue performing amidst the tough and unforgiving position she is in. Since then she has performed at many venue openings, events (such as pervert party) and many more.

Bilingual in English and Chinese she occasionally adds hosting to her lip singing repertoires. Labelled as one of Shanghai’s Gay Icons by TIMEOUT Shanghai, she has somehow never ceased to exit her stage presence. Serving as an Icon on the enduring and fascinating world of entertainment, she is one personality to keep your eye out for. As some would say, “while the West have RuPaul, the East have Ivanna Sucalongkok”
