Rainbow Family Forum | Diversity of Rainbow Families
The 2019 Rainbow Family Forum invites several guests to continue the discussions on LGBTQ communities and families. Unlike last year’s forum, which focused on same-sex partners forming a rainbow family, we’ve expanded our perspective this year to encompass greater diversity and different experiences!
This year’s forum will discuss the family lives of same-sex couples and psychological needs, with children and parents from rainbow families：
-After many years of helping same-sex couples have babies, you only decide to have one recently, why?
-As mental health becomes increasingly important in modern society, how are we addressing and resolving the conflicts between LGBTQ children and parents?
-After a heterosexual marriage that ended in coming out and divorce, what was the driving force behind one’s journey of self-acceptance and self-discovery?
-Family acceptance is one of the greatest gifts to humankind, but many still could not or have not accepted us, what can we do?
